1. No mincing words about this – DAFONT is DA BOMB! and DA BOMB of the DA BOMB is Kimberly Geswein. All of her fonts – hundreds of them – are free for personal use. If you use them commercially, meaning if you make money from something you made with them, pay her the $5 for commercial use. Let’s keep her making us fonts.

2. Lavanderia – Not really free, although you don’t have to pay. The designer asks you to pay what you want for personal use. You can put $0.00 in the box, but be a Mench (Yiddish: מענטש mentsh, cognate with German: Mensch “human being”) means “a person of integrity and honor) and throw the guy some $$ if you use it a lot, so he keeps designing. It is not free for commercial use.
